About

I’m Brittany. You could say I’ve always been the creative type but it wasn’t until my 7th grade job fair that I knew I wanted to make it a career. If you do what you love, you never work a day in your life, right?

In 2014, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture from James Madison University. In addition to spending many sleepless nights at the studio, I took classes in graphic design, furniture design, screen printing, and photography. Before graduating, I landed an internship at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke where I got to design a majority of the museum’s large publications and meet a handful of featured artists. Post-graduation, I began specializing in kitchen and bath remodels as a residential project manager. This eventually manifested a desire to broaden my skillset. In 2019, I enrolled in some online courses and became a draftsman, transitioning into commercial work. Fast forward to now - I get to explore the conceptual AND technical aspects of design in both the residential and commercial industries. I am learning every day.

Outside the office, you can probably find me at Target. I like camping, kayaking, and playing board games. I read fiction books and listen to unserious advice podcasts. If you ask me what I want for dinner, it’s tacos.
